Ergonomics research is constantly finding new and useful information, but often this doesn’t filter through to those of us who practice applied ergonomics and health and safety. With the volumes of research and the amount of guidance already out there, there is a risk that these important findings and messages are not adopted into best practice.
Our Ergonomics Research Review takes a fresh approach to research. We bring it into the ‘real world’ and keep the messages short, to the point, so that everyone has time for it, anyone can see it and if they want to, look into it in more detail.
Every two months we filter out key research findings from a range of key journals:
- Applied Ergonomics
- Industrial Ergonomics
- Ergonomics
- Musculoskeletal Science and Practice
- International Journal of Human Factors and Ergonomics
- Human Factors
- International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics
- Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing and Service Industries
- Computers in Human Behaviour
- Annals of Occupational and Environmental Medicine
The research review is a single side pdf with links to more information.
We also include details and a link to a hot-topic in the ‘closer look’ section.
This post will be updated as each new research review is released, so there will be a record here of all of them going forward.
We hope you enjoy them and find them useful. As ever, get in touch if you want to discuss any issues that they raise, or if you want to discuss any consultancy or training needs.
